Booking Puppets Elora

Puppets Elora performs for audiences of all ages, with a special focus on grades K-5 for our school shows. We also run sock puppet and manipulation workshops for ages 6 and up. Our fairy tale plays and general presentations on puppetry are popular with adult audiences.
All shows are spoken live. The maximum audience for one show is 150 people.

Fees

Performance fees begin at $150 for a single play (approx. 30 minutes) in a local venue. Our most popular option is a double-bill of two plays with a Q & A (approx. one-hour).

Shows taking place more than 50km from the Elora Centre for the Arts, Elora, Ontario, will be assessed a mileage charge. 

As a small service provider there is no HST added to our fees. Cheques should be made payable to: Puppets Elora. Puppets Elora carries liability insurance as a member of the Elora Arts Council.

Physical Requirements

– 2 Power outlets.
– Two tables and two chairs.
– Room for an audience of up to 150 to sit on floor or chairs. It works well to have children on the floor in front, and adults sitting behind on chairs.
Our stage is set up on the floor and requires an 8′ high ceiling and a footprint of about 8’x8′.

The theatrical experience will be enhanced by a darkened, quiet space. We can accommodate daylight or noisier venues if necessary.

– 90 minutes pre-show set-up
– Performance time as booked
– 30 minutes tear-down
